We were out on a 'Having a Dave Day' today, taking our classic bikes to Risedale Nursing home, Barrow-in-Furness, to put on a display for the residents there, some of which were bikers themselves in the past. It was great to talk to them and hear some cracking stories of old. I took the 1936 Velocette MOV which my good friend Charlie is sat on. A day of doing something nice for someone else.
Have a look at this guys, it all the fantastic work that goes into restoring, repairing and re-chroming parts on our old bikes. It's great to see how the full process is done.
Well unfortunately this downfall of snow over Cumbria this weekend has caused the usual chaos that these things seem to cause these days and the electric is off in our area. This means that we will to be able to operate as normal therefore will be closed on Monday 4th December, hopefully the power will be restored on Monday evening and we can get back to normal on Tuesday. Fingers crossed.
